Unbound

God has no time or spatial boundaries, and I'm thrilled to watch him work. He is unbound. I want to thank you again for your partnership. It's having powerful effects in Africa, Cambodia, and beyond borders.

As you know, at the last minute in May, I became too ill to get on the plane, but thankfully, my team went. I am grateful that God allowed me to coordinate most of the administrative and logistical elements of the trip before I got on the plane. You and I still covered my full 1/3 of the ministry costs for the work there. So we had an impact!

About 200 pastors and leaders were blessed, equipped, encouraged and taught. Our team served in three different towns/villages, and two of the groups were brand new. These are remote rural areas that are hard to reach (think being jostled hard for many hours of the Disneyland Indian Jones ride). These pastors receive very, very little to no training in the Bible or in the skills needed to minister. So, Jesus for the win! It was fabulous. Here are pictures of the three groups…

One-On-Ones

My mentoring care, counseling, online equipping, and one-on-one ministry have skyrocketed recently. I've met with a ton of people over the last several months, and it's been really encouraging and effective. For instance:

A Day in the Life

Today was extra special. Before I got out of bed, I got a text from one of the men in Burundi who has been through our pastor’s training program. He told me that he and some of the graduates were meeting with village pastors and training them this week. Multiplication, well… is a thing of beauty! I rolled out of bed and immediately started a planned online meet-up, a time in prayer, and encouragement with another pastor in Burundi. As soon as our call ended, I immediately dialed up a friend in need of counseling care in a time of great distress that he is facing. As that call ended, I started another WhatsApp meet-up with another young disciple for one-on-one mentoring in Burundi. We talked about ministry skills development, his upcoming marriage, and a new church he is helping plant! Multiplication again! As soon as that was done, I jumped on my motorcycle and rode out to encourage and share with a local pastor who's working through challenges in his life and ministry. WHILE I was speaking with him, I received a call from another pastor that I have been working with in rural Malawi. He excitedly began to tell me how they have been teaching sustainable farming and God's Word in a nearby village where they may plant another church. Multiplication! God's at work; He has no boundaries.

Upcoming Unbound Ministry

I'll be preaching at two churches in the upcoming months (in English with no interpreter !!!), I’m still writing my Spiritual Leadership curriculum, and best of all, I'm preparing for a two-week trip to Cambodia at the beginning of October. We’re working with some new meds that may bring this GI issue into remission, pray to that end!

Thank you for all your prayers, for your faithful support!
