Sowing the Seeds of Kingdom Harvest
CAMBODIA!
I am back in the air to Southeast Asia again in a month! I'll be headed back to Cambodia for a solid hunk of October, I fly out on the 15th and get home on the 31st. We'll be training several NEW groups all around the country. Pray for good gut health, traveling mercies, and powerful impact that will multiply for His Glory.
MULTIPLICATION
Indigenous ministry is a key objective for GTN, and for me. We desire to equip God’s chosen local leaders so that they can, in turn, train their own countrymen. This is happening right now through our GTN training graduate, Pastor Innocent Ndihokubwayo.
Pastor Innocent just sent me photos of himself and another GTN grad, Pastor Ezekiel, training a group of rural leaders in a tiny, far-flung village in Burundi. They traveled the bumpy backroads to multiply the training they have received in our two-year program.
Pray for Pastor Innocent, Pastor Ezekiel, and others who are taking what they know to places that have the greatest need.
PREACHING
I'll soon be preaching at my buddy Allen Coleman's church in Bay Hills, Richmond, California. It’s super fun to preach in English / no interpreter! I can’t wait! If you want to tune in, it'll be live Sunday, October 4th, at 10 a.m. PST . Here's the link:

It will also be available online later that week at their website.
UPDATES & PRAISES
My new curriculum in Spiritual Leadership is now fully written. I'll be test-driving it across Cambodia next month. I’m excited to teach this. It’s less about 21st-century methodology and more about the heart, character, integrity, practices, and spiritual depth of the Pastor. Thanks for praying for insights and guidance as I composed it!
We've been able to invest in the college education of my young ministry partner, Steve, in Burundi. He earns about $200-300 USD per month, so you and I paying the $500 for this semester of college was a huge help, especially as he saves up to get married in the next year! Thanks for making it a possibility by your giving and thanks for investing in the future of the Kingdom through Steve.
Logistics: I return to Burundi in January. Pray for Pastor Innocent and me as we work through the swamps of African logistics to launch a training in a new region, as well as to resume our work by Lake Tanganyika, in rural Rumonge.
Pastor Stuff: Mentoring, pastoral care, and coaching have been off the charts.
More Pastor Stuff: I had the wonderful opportunity to preach from Mark’s beautiful Gospel at my buddy Kevin Bailey's Anthem Church in Camarillo, giving him a Sunday off. Thank you for helping make this a possibility.
Soggy Pastor Stuff: I had the blessing to travel to Anaheim to baptize my good friend Kevin Ponci last month. What a wonderful time to reflect on what God has been doing in his life!
Broken Pastor Stuff: I’ll be going in for shoulder surgery soon after I return from Cambodia. Please pray for a successful surgery and for super speedy recovery, so that I can get back on the road quickly.
Thank you for the generous partnership that sends me to go into all the world making disciples…
